The High School Reform Task Force

Superintendent Mark Roosevelt, the founding of the Pittsburgh Public Schools High School Reform Task Force has announced. High School Girls Task Force, which is used by leaders of the two schools and universities, private foundations and companies, experts in human resource development, parents and community members to carefully consider the definition of these principles and the best way for an action plan is to implement high school reform inPittsburgh schools. The Task Force was established to evaluate and reinvent the Pittsburgh high schools as part of the District of Excellence for All "reform plan, provides a roadmap to improve the academic performance of all students in the Pittsburgh Public Schools.

In an attempt to make the necessary educational reforms and improve the speed of the Pittsburgh Public Schools graduates, Superintendent Mark commissioned a recent study by the Rand Corporation Roosevelt that 64 percent of reportedDistrict High School graduates. One of the most important measures in the initiative of excellence for all the reforms are expected to increase the graduation rate by 10 percentage points by the end of the school year 2008-2009.

"His development of an overall plan for high school reform is one of our key initiatives for next year," said Roosevelt.
