History

Indiana General Assembly established Indiana University as Indiana State Normal School in December 1865 The school was the latest Indiana Teachers College in 1929 and was renamed as the Indiana State College in 1961 was eventually named as Indiana University in 1965. The University began with the objective to train primary teachers e. But the growth over the years has made to educate other parts of the company to diversify.
